At The Care Team, we aim to provide a professional Occupational Therapy service to people who are finding daily activities at home difficult. We assess individual needs, recommending appropriate equipment and/or adaptation to help promote independent living, safety and comfort.

Established for over fifteen years, in Urmston, Manchester, by Phil Moore, The Care Team has experienced occupational therapists with a wealth of specialist expertise who work with individuals and their families. At the Care Team office, we have secretarial staff who are available to book in appointments, deal with any enquiries, and sell small equipment items to the general public who call in. We provide assessment and specialist disability equipment to local Social Services, Primary Care Trusts, Independent Living Centres, Voluntary Agencies and Local Housing Associations, as well as to the general public.

Assessments are carried out in the clients own home, so people are seen in familiar surroundings and the environment where they are having the difficulties can be assessed. Assessments are based on professional experience and clinical knowledge, equipment is tried for suitability. Our assessment rates and prices for equipment are competitive in today’s market, offering the professionalism that other private disability dealers do not.
